Hipotesis Lintasan Belajar

Hipotesis lintasan belajar (HLB) merupakan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian desain ini yang dapat menjembatani antara teori dengan eksperimen.  Istilah hipotesis lintasan belajar digunakan oleh Simon (1995) dengan istilah Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT).  HLB sesungguhnya adalah hipotesis yang dibuat oleh peneliti mengenai proses belajar yang akan terjadi pada saat pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas. Hipotesis ini dibuat untuk mengantisipasi segala kemungkinan yang dapat muncul di kelas, sehingga peneliti dapat meminimalisir hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan. Hal lain yang juga penting adalah bahwa HLB dibuat berlandaskan teori yang sudah dikaji sebelumnya.

Hipotesis lintasan belajar  memberikan perencanaan harian bagi guru dan peneliti mengenai rangkaian aktivitas dalam melaksanakan eksperimen di kelas.  Di dalam HLB, peneliti memaparkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan. Kegiatan pembelajaran ini diurutkan sesuai dengan tahapan pemahaman konsep yang biasanya termuat dalam kegiatan (Gravemeijer, 2004).

 

Learning from The Ambassador

A very impressing General Lecture from Moazzam Malik, the ambassador of UK and Ireland for Indonesia. He came to Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta to deliver speech regarding many issues such as economics, politics, social, health, education, etc. But, from all that issues, the important thing is that we can learn from each other about the way of both UK or Indonesia deal with the problems related to that issues. I would not tell about the whole story about this lecture and I will focus on two things regarding his perspective about education.

The first thing is about studying abroad. He emphasized about the importance of studying abroad. It is not only about the knowledge and skills related to our major but also about the skills of living in a land of different cultures, different language, and perhaps also different religion.Learning on how other people solving problems, learning on how to respect diversity, and learning on how to work and how to build relationship with people from all over the world.
